Georgian Barometer with Engraved Brass Face

Certainly, a magnificent example. One metre in length and inlaid with mother of pearl. This Barometer features a large polished brass face, with finely engraved increments. 

All the scientific instruments and components, including the mercury, are stored in a cavity in the back.  Waiting to be set up by someone who knows what they're doing.

Recently French Polished.
