Our Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale

Yvonne Sanders Antiques Limited deals in items of Antique, Vintage and Pre-loved nature.  As such our items may be showing signs of their age and natural worn patina.  Therefore, all items are sold subject to the understanding that the goods are in a condition appropriate and consistent with their age.  It is the expectation that you the customer will do your due diligence in inspecting items prior to purchase.  We encourage you to come into the store to view items before purchase.  If this is not possible we encourage you to call or email us for more information, or a condition report prior to purchase. 

Please choose carefully as we do not provide a refund if you change your mind. 

 

Payment

We accept all major Credit Cards via our website. 

We accept all major Credit Cards, Eftpos and Cash in-store.

We accept bank transfers by prior arrangement.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST (15% Goods & Services Tax).

All items must be paid for in full prior to collection or shipping.

 

Layby

We offer Layby in-store for an eight-week term only, with a 20% deposit. We expect regular payments via bank transfer or in-store with cash or card.  Goods must be paid for in full before collection.  Failure to meet these terms may see item/s returned to stock and an administration fee of $40 deducted from your deposit.  If you decide to cancel your Lay-by a $40 administration fee will apply. 

 

Collection of Items

All items must be collected within a reasonable time frame. We are not able to store your purchases for a long period, nor pay for storage for you. Our store has limited space and we do not have an external storage facility. If items are not collected in a reasonable time frame they may get damaged or lost. We take no responsibility in such circumstances.

 

Freight & Postage

We do our best to send out items purchased via the website in a timely manner. Usually within 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays. We use the services of NZ Post, Aramex and other local courier services.

All freight and postage excludes insurance and will be shipped at the purchaser's own risk.

Some of our items are available for pickup only.

Collection and freight of large, bulky or fragile items is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please contact us for recommendations of local freight and carrier companies.

 

Items on Approval

Items may be taken on approval to try in your home or business at the discretion of Yvonne Sanders Antiques Limited. Payment in full is expected. If you decide to return the item a refund will be given. Trying items on approval should be for no longer than 48 hours.

 

Hireage

Items can be hired for film or function at a rate of 20% of the value of the item per week, or part thereof. Items must be pre-paid. Items must be returned in the original condition that they left our store. Damaged items must be paid for in full.

We will meet all our obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
