Victorian Embroidered Pole Firescreen

Designed to shield one's face from the heat of the fireplace, this screen has a finely turned base and finials with a detailed framed embroidery featuring a bird and florals.  Dated circa 1880 and is in excellent condition.  

Measurements: 148cm tall.  Screen size is 42 cm x 42cm.
