This exquisite antique work table has been dated circa 1870 and showcases the refined craftsmanship of the late Victorian period. The table features stunning marquetry with intricate inlaid designs on both the top and lower shelf, combining various wood veneers to create a richly detailed surface.

Elegantly curved legs and original ormolu mounts highlight the piece's graceful silhouette. The table opens to reveal a lined interior with divided compartments, ideal for storing sewing tools, writing instruments, or keepsakes. A framed mirror is set into the underside of the lid, making it functional as a vanity or sewing table.
