This is a high-end card table, made in China by one of their most luxurious furniture manufacturers - Dafengfan. Although they are over 40 years old, they appear like they were made yesterday, and their high quality will ensure they will pass through another century in a similar condition.  They are also seriously comfortable and designed to keep the player(s) seated for prolonged periods of time no doubt!   
An inlaid solid wood veneered cover lifts off to expose the tightly woven wool card-playing surface underneath which remains protected while not in use.  Each corner has a slide-out drink and chip holder and there is a small drawer for each side. 
It has an impressive pedestal base with brass claw feet and faux jade embellishments.
It is extremely well made in solid hardwood making it very heavy so any disgruntled players will not be able to unceremoniously flip the table in frustration.
