A very handsome chest, simple yet with refined detailing such as the cock beading and brass mounted key escutcheons.
Sympathetically restored with fresh drawer runners and a recent French-Polish, ready for use.
The brass handles are not original but quality reproductions of the era.
The entire piece is in solid oak which is why it has survived in such a remarkable condition when considering its age and distance traveled. (England, 200 years)
It also has a few secrets which can't be divulged publically but we will happily reveal to interested visitors. The previous owners were not even aware of their existence.....
Free delivery within the Auckland area, this is a very heavy chest of drawers so we will need help lifting upstairs or into tricky positions
