A scarce item and the first one of its size to come through our doors!  

There is some oxidation to the mirror silver, however, this is the original mirror with thick beveled edging so some age is to be expected after more than a century.

The mosaic frame itself is in exceptional condition with no apparent tile loss which is very uncommon for pieces from this era.

Each minute tile is cut and placed individually by hand - a skillful yet painstakingly laborious task, especially for a piece of this size. 
The floral bouquets on each side panels are very detailed, many with shaded tones giving the mosaic a depth that is only seen in the earlier pieces. 
Each of the panels has a border of shimmering gold tiles while the mirror itself has a border of twisted clear glass rope embellished with glass flower buttons on the corners.
