This example features Admiral Horatio Nelson’s profile on the lid. Nelson is most well-known for leading the British Royal Navy to victory over the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Also embossed on the bottom of the box are significant battles in Admiral Nelson’s naval career, "Conqueror at Aboukir 1 August 1798 / Copenhagen 2nd April 1801 / Trafalgar 21 Oct 1805, where he gloriously fell.”
