Tony Sly Pottery

It has taken Tony twenty years to reach the stage of making a perfectly simple pot.  First he developed a glaze to heighten the texture of soft hand throwing. The play of the light does the rest.

What he likes about these hand made bowls, jugs and plates is the way they sit in both traditional and contemporary settings.

At his Raglan studio Tony works with a small team to hand craft every piece in limited batch runs.  It's become second nature....like breathing.  Occasionally though, a piece catches his eye and he thinks 'that's really beautiful'.
